Timothy Hodge b. 1983, lives and works in lutruwita/Tasmania
Timothy is a nipaluna/Hobart-based artist and musician whose practice investigates memory and transcendence through descriptions of internal landscapes. He records and performs music as part of Kave Milc, Primal Outlaw and Starmarker, with an independently produced discography of over seven records. How the artificial intersects with the natural in the production of meaning is investigated with an experimental painting and drawing practice that extends out into sound-art, installation and sculpture. His process draws from vast arrays of information to make abstract landscapes that are equally internal and external in their imagery.
